Jeremy has worked as a reporter, editor and opinion columnist for multiple news outlets across the United States, including for Lee Enterprises, Gannett Co. and Forum Communications Co. He has served as a member of three editorial boards — in Wyoming, Ohio and South Dakota — and among other political leaders and newsmakers, has interviewed former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump. His professional background includes non-profit work in Yemen for an organization training women journalists.
Jeremy has a master's degree from the University of Kentucky's Patterson School, where he focused on international trade and security, dual bachelor's degrees from South Dakota State University in mass communications and political science, and studied Arabic, Egyptology and political science at the American University in Cairo in Egypt. He currently makes his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
