ASHINGTON, DC — April 16, 2024: Diplomatic Courier and World in 2050, in collaboration with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), present the 2024 Circular Economy Forum during the IMF/World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, DC.

The Circular Economy Forum is Diplomatic Courier’s annual high-level event that brings together leaders from the private sector and international organizations so that they can leverage their experience, access to market, and resources towards solutions for an inclusive and sustainable economic future.

Building upon the December forum on “Building Climate Resilient Communities” at COP28 in Dubai, this forum will focus on:

  • How to ensure the participation of communities in building resilient communities.
  • How to reimagine fragmented sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, and technology through a multisectoral and multistakeholder lens.
  • How to redefine leadership models and success/failure models, ensuring equitable access to those least represented.

“How do we build a circular economy with communities at the center? We need both people and the planet on the path to a regenerative world. A future where we consume resources at a rate that can be replenished and societal structures are balanced,” said Ana Rold, CEO of Diplomatic Courier.

This year’s speakers include:

  • Ana Rold | Founder & CEO, Diplomatic Courier & World in 2050
  • Eric Hontz | Director, CIPE Center for Accountable Investment
  • Anastasia Dellaccio | Senior Vice President, External Affairs, Export-Import Bank of the United States
  • Dr. Carol O'Donnell | Director, Smithsonian Science Education Center
  • Andrew Wilson | Executive Director, Center for International Private Enterprise
  • Karen Kerrigan | President & CEO, Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council
  • Mohamed Younis | Senior Fellow, World in 2050
