ew York City — November 20, 2024: Diplomatic Courier will host the 2024 Global Women’s Forum, New York City Edition on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week and Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. The gathering will focus on the theme: “The Next Phase for Women’s Economic Empowerment.”

Following the success of this year’s Global Women’s Forum gathering in March, we will explore a New York City edition of the popular salon series, which will feature special guest and pioneering trendspotter Marian Salzman. The setting is Salzman’s “The New Megatrends: Seeing Clearly in the Age of Disruption” in which she makes a series of predictions for the decade(s) ahead. Ana Rold will begin the event through a Q&A with Salzman on her book’s findings and predictions and then moderate a salon-style conversation with other experts around the table to explore a variety of other topics.

The Global Women’s Forum is an annual high-level meeting that brings together female leaders and allies from the private sector, policy, media, and international organizations so that they can leverage their experience and resources to help elevate each other in both the professional and civil realms.

The dinner, networking, and dialogue will explore additional questions such as:

  • Can a broad-based network focused and working together on key thematic issues accelerate the closure of the global gender gap?
  • What are the governance challenges?
  • What will the role of the private sector be, and what role can regulatory bodies play?
  • How can we capitalize on tech for such an effort and do so safely?
  • Is there a way to incorporate the role of AI either/both as a tool for trolling and as a tool to help protect women leaders?
