Mariah Smith is the Vice Chairman and Development Committee Chair of No One Left Behind and has served on the Board since 2019. She retired from the Army as a Military Police Lieutenant Colonel, commissioned through Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. She served three tours in Afghanistan, a tour in Djibouti, and was a platoon leader in the initial invasion into Iraq in 2003. She is a councilwoman for her home town of Stephens City, Virginia, a growing community in the northern Shenandoah Valley, where she lives on her family’s horse farm. She currently is the Director of Government Affairs for Accrete AI Government, a NY and DC based technology firm that serves both commercial and government clients. In her spare time, she plays polo and fosters kittens for the local animal shelter.
