Marc Neesam is Head of Professional Development Solutions for Cambridge Partnership for Education, part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Marc has experience in curriculum development and design, education policy review and creation, educational technology, teacher professional development, teacher recognition and resource development to support teaching and learning across different national contexts. He has led capacity development programs in curriculum reform, particularly in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. In 2020, Marc worked on the development of the science curriculum framework which underpins the technology platform and support materials for the UNICEF Learning Passport project, which aims to close the ‘learning poverty gap’ that sees many millions of primary-level children failing to achieve minimum proficiency levels in their education. Marc also has direct teaching experience, including school level subject leadership and school level curriculum design.
