Katie is passionate about politics, global affairs, and gender equality. She's worked for campaigns and politicians at various levels of government and party affiliation, and has received awards for her speech and debate skills in multiple countries. In addition to being a correspondent for Diplomatic Courier, she works in local journalism and as a research assistant at the University of Utah, where she is pursuing degrees in Political Science and Strategic Communications. After graduation, Katie intends to pursue a graduate degree in Political Communications. When she isn't writing, Katie enjoys hiking, art, and baking.
