Ethan Brown is a United States Air Force veteran, having served with distinction for 11 years as a special operations forward air controller. He entered the policy community as the inaugural Military Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency & Congress (CSPS) in Washington D.C., where he now serves as a Senior Fellow for Defense Studies.
Ethan holds a BA in International Relations from American Military University, a Master of Project Management from Georgetown University, and is presently pursuing a Master of Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
He is the author of the “Visual Friendlies, Tally Target” trilogy (Casemate Publishers), chronicling the role of forward air controllers and Close Air Support in the Global War on Terror.
