Deborah Melom Ndjerareou is from the Republic of Chad. She is a humanitarian with global experience with the United Nations and NGOs in Congo Brazzaville, Namibia, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Palestinian Territories, Somaliland, South Africa, and Chad. She previously worked in language teaching and freelance translation. She holds a bachelor’s and honors in language studies from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and a master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Open University of Catalonia in partnership with the United Nations Institute of Training and Research. She has a passion for African affairs, languages, and traveling. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and her native language Ngambaye.
