Andrew M. Beato has been an advisory board member since the founding of the Diplomatic Courier. Mr. Beato is a partner of legal firm Stein, Mitchell, Beato and Missner, LLP in Washington, DC. Mr. Beato’s practice concentrates on antitrust and trade regulation, including advertising, Internet, and privacy laws. He graduated summa cum laude with distinction from Boston University in May 1991. In May 1994, Mr. Beato earned his J.D. from American University, The Washington College of Law, where he was a staff editor of The American University Journal of International Law and Policy.
Mr. Beato is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Antitrust Section), Maryland State Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
Mr. Beato’s practice areas include antitrust and trade regulation, trade association law, consumer protection, and civil litigation.
