iplomatic Courier and World in 2050, in partnership with Gallup and Cerebral, present the 2022 Wellbeing Forum on October 11, 2022, at Gallup Headquarters, 9 Street, NW, Washington, DC. The multidisciplinary meeting is hosted on the occasion of World Mental Health Day and follows the theme: “From Surviving to Thriving: Wellbeing for the Individual, Systems, and Society.”

The Wellbeing Forum (WBF) examines the leading indicators of trends in physical and mental health globally so that the health problems of today do not become tomorrow’s health crises. A highly-curated group of decision makers in the private sector, NGO, media, policy, and academic communities as well as entrepreneurs will gather to discuss strategies and solutions to foster wellbeing.

This year’s WBF occurs as the world is unhappier and more stressed out than ever, as revealed in Gallup’s latest Global Emotions Report. From the pandemic’s long grasp, to devastating global realities such as climate change, conflict, and economic shocks, people are increasingly stricken with heavy impacts on their health.

“As the world faces unprecedented challenges, individual health is being compromised with devastating effects for organizations and society at large,” said CEO and Founder Ana Rold. “But it need not be. WBF experts are looking beyond coping mechanisms, beyond simply surviving the next crisis. They are looking at the very tools and strategies that will usher us to the next normal; a society where all people are thriving.”

This year’s WBF will feature presentations and panels covering a wide variety of topics important to this objective, including:

  • In Pursuit of Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing
  • The Loneliness Epidemic, Opioid Crisis, and Suicide and How to Prevent Them
  • Workplace Wellness: Building a Culture of Health

A lively discussion is expected, which Diplomatic Courier will synthesize into a special report for their global audience. Additionally, video interviews of speakers will be compiled into a special podcast series and book anthology.
